Responsibilities
You will join a team of five and report to the Purchasing Manager. The role includes operational planning of material flows and production, with the aim of ensuring that the Purchasing Department contributes to high quality, reliable delivery and cost reductions for Tollo by:
Placing purchase orders and ensuring that deliveries arrive on time.
Planning production together with supervisors based on customer orders and material availability.
Working with Kanban and consignment inventory.
Optimising inventory and reducing lead times.
Qualifications and personal attributes
You have practical experience of purchasing and planning processes in a manufacturing company and are accustomed to working with production planning, material planning and supplier contacts. Experience of ERP systems, such as Oracle or equivalent, is an advantage. Post-secondary education in logistics, purchasing, industrial engineering and management, or a related field is desirable; however, relevant professional experience and expertise are highly valued.
The role requires a clear commercial mindset and strong analytical skills. You have a good sense of priorities and a high level of drive. You communicate clearly and directly, both internally and externally in Swedish. As English is our corporate language, full professional proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. You must also have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and a solid general understanding of ERP systems. Experience of working in a US-based organisation or with Oracle is advantageous, but not required. Finally, we value an interest in continuous improvement, as Lean Manufacturing is an integral part of our daily work.
