Position Overview

The Pricing Analyst III supports the profitability and growth of the Motion Control Systems business through pricing strategy, analysis, and execution. This role partners closely with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations, and Commercial Leadership to develop and implement pricing strategies that enhance margin performance while maintaining market competitiveness.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, financial acumen, and business partnership skills to deliver actionable insights and drive data-based pricing decisions across MCS product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial and financial leadership to develop pricing strategy aligned with MCS business strategy

• Develop, analyze, and maintain pricing models to support revenue growth and margin expansion across MCS product lines.

• Conduct market, competitive, and customer pricing analyses to identify risks and opportunities.

• Lead pricing initiatives, including annual price increases, surcharge programs, promotional pricing, and new product pricing.

• Partner with Product Management and Sales to establish pricing strategies for new product introductions and product lifecycle management.

• Monitor pricing realization, margin performance, and discount trends, and recommend actions to improve profitability.

• Support quote governance, pricing approvals, and exception management.

• Create and maintain pricing dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators for business leadership.

• Analyze customer and channel profitability to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.

• Collaborate with Finance to support forecasting, planning, and commercial performance reviews.

• Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes, tools, and data governance practices.

• Provide analytical support for strategic commercial projects, customer negotiations, and business case development.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for pricing systems and pricing-related data within the business.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in pricing, commercial analytics, product management, sales support, commercial excellence, or a related analytical/business role.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and large dataset analysis.

• Experience developing pricing strategies, margin analyses, and profitability assessments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar business systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in pricing, commercial analytics, finance, product management, or a related analytical role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, motion control, automation, or engineered products industries.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other business intelligence tools.

• Knowledge of pricing software, CPQ platforms, or commercial excellence processes.

• Experience supporting distributor, OEM, and direct customer business models.

• Experience pricing for US Department of Defense (DOD) programs and applications

• MBA or advanced degree.

Hybrid: This role is eligible for a Hybrid Work Schedule, which requires working a minimum of 3 days per week from your designated Regal Rexnord office and allows up to 2 remote workdays.

Expected Base Salary Range: $75,000 – $108,00+

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
