Key Responsibilities

  • Support and assist with deploying, implementing, and driving key HR initiatives and activities in accordance with RRX policies and procedures, including but not limited to: full cycle recruitment and retention for professional and production positions; performance management; training and development; positive associate/union relations; workforce planning; diversity and inclusion; engagement; and equitable compensation and benefits
  • Actively role model Regal Rexnord’s Core Values to drive a culture of integrity, responsibility (including safety accountability) diversity & inclusion, customer success, innovation with purpose, continuous improvement, performance and a passion to win, all with a sense of urgency.
  • Partner with leadership to develop engagement action plans and being accountable for culture and engagement progress. Assume ownership of and tracking/reporting progress on Engagement Road Map for the site.
  • Submit compensation recommendations for professional new hires. Coach and advise managers on appropriate career level mapping and regularly audit alignment with RRX’s job architecture and career leveling guide for professional positions.
  • Use experience, data, and analytics to drive actions and provide insights, guidance and expertise to enable effective implementation and achievement of KPIs and desired business outcomes.
  • Support on resolution of associate relations issues on professional and hourly levels in a balanced, fair, and objective manner, using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention and other problem resolution techniques.
  • Support HR Manager in annual contract negotiations with labor union, including research and preparing executive summary for Division approvals, and administration of collective bargaining agreement and grievance process.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have proven experience and qualifications in the following:

  • Bachelors degree is required, preferably in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field. Masters degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience is required. Prior experience in a US based multi-national industrial manufacturing environment with operating locations in US and Mexico is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of core Human Resources functions, local and federal employment laws, and a level of business acumen that complements the HR knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills promoting teamwork and collaboration and ability to develop high quality working relationships to influence, gain support, and achieve results.
  • Skilled with investigating and documenting allegations of unethical or violations of integrity, and other internal associate complaints. Ability to synthesize and summarize results and recommended actions in line with RRX policies in an objective professional manner for Legal and Division HR review.
  • Highly productive with a strong sense of urgency and orientation to details, accuracy, and excellent outcomes. Result-oriented with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and an advocate for change.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills, including the ability to influence business outcomes through functional expertise, analytics, and metrics. Experience with applying lean manufacturing problem solving methodologies to non-production issues to improve HR KPIs is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to adapt to internal processes and change, delays, or unexpected events. Responds to adversity or restrictions of the organization with resilience and tenacity.
  • Strong work ethic, self-directed and self-motivated. Models the company’s core values through professionalism, passion, and initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and comfort level presenting to management is required.
  • Bilingual proficiency English is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications is required. Experience with HR systems such as Workday (HRIS), Oracle (ERP), TRESS (payroll) or similar platforms is strongly desired.
