THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our Marathon Special Products business unit (under Regal Rexnord), based out of Bowling Green, Ohio. In this position, you will be a vital member of a small yet mighty HR team, reporting to the HR Manager. This role is ideal for a proactive, efficient self-starter who is energized by a high-paced environment and possesses the perfect combination of interpersonal savvy and analytical prowess. Your responsibilities will be diverse: from offering Tactical/Admin HR Support to coordinating engagement events and fielding general HR inquiries. Additionally, you will support the HR Manager in driving forward-looking projects and assist in the recruiting and onboarding activities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing reliable administrative support for day-to-day HR operations to ensure efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
Serving as a primary contact for HR-related inquiries, providing prompt and accurate information to employees.
Assisting the HR Manager with initiatives aimed at talent development and retention, thereby supporting the business in achieving its strategic goals.
Assisting with the full-cycle recruitment efforts and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Support driving employee engagement, through events and social activities.
Provide support for recruitment, onboarding, payroll, investigations and administrative tasks as needed.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience required.
3+ years of HR experience; ideally within a manufacturing environment, and unionized setting.
Experience working within a growing company, and/or a business unit that is part of a global parent company, and comfortably navigating the complexities that come with it, would be ideal.
Technically savvy, experience with Microsoft Office products, HRIS systems (ADP, Workday, Kronos, etc) with a keen ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Sense of urgency demonstrated through an ability to act promptly and effectively.
A continuous improvement mindset with the drive to seek out ways to streamline and improve HR processes and initiatives.
Proficiency in applying deductive reasoning and problem-solving techniques.
Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proven experience successfully handling a large workload, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.

A creative flair for owning social engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and enthusiastic workplace culture.
Exceptional communication skills, providing timely updates and proactive feedback.

Expected Base Salary Range: $60,000- $80,000
The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
